Position Summary:

The Application Development & Support Specialist will be responsible of the development of the Oracle Sales Cloud applications. He/She will be the subject matter expert of the Oracle Sales Cloud application including its integration with other digital tools.

The role will provide in-depth application support for Oracle Sales Cloud applications, execute and monitor application enhancements requests, develop and configure front end application design, coordinate with DB and backend integrations, escalate issues to application providers, deliver instance for development regression testing and facilitate regular meetings with assigned group. 


Key Duties

  • Contribute into the development and the deployment of Oracle Sales Cloud System Configuration particularly in the designing, building, testing, implementation and stabilization.
  • Deploy system enhancements, service requests (change requests) ensuring solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements and identify/document functional gaps
  • Support regression and integration testing when there is a new release as well as in any situation when quick or detailed testing is a must.
  • Participate in root cause analysis / corrective action for critical issues and incidents 
  • Analyze production configuration issues and resolve any technical gaps
  • Develop, support, maintain interfaces between Oracle Sales Cloud and related business critical systems.
  • Generate and maintain documentation for changes made to systems. 
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office to estimate the delivery timelines, estimate resourcing needs, and identify risks & issues upfront
  • Work system specifications and develop functioning programs using the Oracle Sales Cloud Platform or other Sales Enablement platforms
  • Develop test plans to ensure proper system functionality and defects free release and meet business requirements. Maintain systems to ensure reliability and performance. 
  • Escalate issues and requests to vendor or implementation partner and ensure timely resolution.
  • Work effectively with remote team members, outsourced resources, and users to complete tasks.
  • Conduct ongoing quality reviews and analysis of data in Oracle Sales Cloud. Identifies data quality issues and escalates for corrective action

 

School Background / Working Seniority

  • Experience in Oracle Sales Cloud integrations with other sales platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • International experience 
  • Exposure /internship in an international System Integrator company is a plus

 

Basic Skills

  • Strong English language skills 
  • Analytical, and Problem-solving skills are required

 

Technical / Functional skills

  • Exposure to Oracle Sales Cloud platform, Oracle cloud CX (Sales and Service) and Redwood
  • Exposure to Oracle ERP systems 
  • Exposure with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS), VBS
  • Exposure with PL/SQL or MS SQL, Java and Javascript is preferred
  • Exposure creating Functional Requirement Documentation
  • Excellent Communication and Teamwork skills
  • Process Discipline and Documentation skills essential
  • Ready to move beyond own area of comfort
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible while responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuations
