The Team:
The Okta Workflows Builders team’s mission is to drive the expansion of Okta’s integration suite, in both volume and functionality. We do this by owning the entire lifecycle of building implementations to integrate third-party services into core Okta products. We also own the building of “Workflows Connectors” for third-party services in order to enable extensibility and orchestration in Okta Workflows. In addition, we also support protocol based integrations to support our strategic ISVs (Independent Software Vendors, e.g. Google, Slack, Salesforce, etc).
Okta Integration Network (OIN) allows ISVs to integrate deeply with Okta that enterprises then use to give their workforce seamless access to the technology they need. Okta Workflows is a no-code platform for the automation of business processes, including user provisioning lifecycle management, using a library of integrated third-party applications and functions. By harnessing the power of the cloud, Okta allows people to quickly integrate different services, while still enforcing strong security policies. They integrate directly with an organization’s existing services such as directories and identity systems, as well as many other applications.
Position Description:
We are looking for an Application Analyst to expand the OIN using Okta's Workflow Automation and Integration Development Platform.
They will use Okta Workflows and its API integrations to build components which are made available to our customers. These customers can then use these components to create their own no-code mission-critical business workflows for thousands of users in production.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the ISVs, developers, product managers, and external integrators. This role requires a unique combination of skills including the ability to design an elegant user experience that enables customers to build intuitive, high-performance, secure and resilient business workflows.

- Become an SME for Okta’s top Workflow Connectors; proactively track ISV API changes to identify impactful changes and take it up with the appropriate development team for prioritization.
- Build, own, and drive the software deployment process for Workflow Connectors: deploy connector changes using in-house tools, run Post-Deployment Verifications (PDVs) to ensure connector health, and monitor logs to identify customer issues.
- Proactively suggest quality, scalability, and productivity improvements for the connector development and deployment tools you use.
- Implement continuous testing, PDVs, and synthetic tests to monitor mission critical 3rd party integrations, metrics, alerting, and logging.
- Collaborate with product management and leadership to conceptualize and implement sustainable and efficient processes.
- Collaborate with technical writers to create and improve our customer-facing and developer-facing documentation.
