What’s the opportunity?
The APM (Alternative Payment Methods) Sales Specialist will drive sales and adoption of non-card payment solutions within the LATAM region. This role requires a deep understanding of the payments landscape, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
What will I be doing?
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive the adoption of non-card payment solutions in the LATAM region.
- Identify and target potential clients who would benefit from incorporating non-card payment methods into their payment offerings.
- Expand and maintain relationships with existing clients to upsell and cross-sell non-card payment solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs related to non-card payment adoption.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored non-card payment solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to showcase the benefits of non-card payment methods and how they can enhance the client’s payment process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the payments industry, particularly related to non-card payment methods in LATAM.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of non-card payment solutions.
- Coordinate with the implementation team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
What skills do I need?
- Experience selling non-card payment methods and knowledge of the payments industry in LATAM
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Perseverance. Hearing "NO" doesn't phase you!
- A self-starter with a can-do attitude who is open to working across time zones with teams from all over the world
- 6+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on payments or financial technology.
- Experience with Enterprise clients is highly desirable
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced English and fluent Portuguese
