Job Summary:
The HR Operations Director is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and leading a team in the efficient management of all HR operations. In this role, you will drive the seamless functionality of HR processes, systems, and policies to ensure an optimal employee experience and organizational success. Your primary responsibilities will include employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, employee onboarding, implementation of HR programs, and employee record management. You will also ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, providing guidance and support to the HR team and the broader organization. Collaboration will be a critical aspect of this role, as you will work closely with other departments to identify areas for improvement and streamline HR processes to enhance overall organizational efficiency. Reporting directly to the CHRO, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the strategic direction of the HR function and contributing to the achievement of the company's goals.
Responsibilities:
Leads and manages a team of HR professionals responsible for various functions including employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, employee onboarding, HR programs, compliance with employment laws, HR reporting, and employee record management.
Team span, manages a team size of 5-10.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and expertise in HR policies and practices specific to the country/region(s) they support, keeping abreast of HR laws, regulations, and emerging trends to ensure compliance and driving best practices.
Initiates and implements changes to HR policies and practices, contributing to Clearwater's reputation as a progressive and people-centric organization.
Promotes harmonization across regions by balancing the need for global alignment with accommodating local needs and requirements.
Provides guidance and advice to managers and leaders on employee relations matters, leveraging HR expertise and knowledge to foster positive employee experiences and resolutions.
Develops action plans and strategies to address concerns and opportunities related to employee engagement and enablement, creating a supportive and empowering work environment.
Possesses deep knowledge of HR vendors and effectively utilizes them to achieve optimal outcomes in various HR initiatives.
Leads and oversees organizational changes and restructuring efforts, driving business operations and performance improvements.
Manages large-scale, complex global HR initiatives, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery within established timelines and budgets.
Utilizes data and analytical frameworks to proactively identify HR issues and opportunities, facilitating data-driven decision-making to support the achievement of organizational goals.
Establishes frameworks for new or key HR assignments, leveraging expertise and experience to deliver high-quality outcomes.
