Job Description
As a Demand Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for managing short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasting (0–24 months) for standard products across the APAC region. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and global planning to ensure optimal inventory levels and service performance. This role operates in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and typically follows a hybrid work model.
You will report to the Manager, AP Demand Planning and will be working from Noida, India.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and manage monthly short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts (0–24 months) for standard products.
Support execution of the short-term demand planning process, including risk evaluation related to inventory and customer service levels.
Integrate internal, external, quantitative, and qualitative inputs to improve forecast accuracy.
Identify supply gaps using key metrics and collaborate with global planning teams to implement mitigation actions.
Conduct regular business and performance reviews with stakeholders.
Analyze forecast accuracy of metrics, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Participate in product lifecycle management, including NPI and phase-outs.
Partner with global teams to achieve inventory targets and optimize supply-demand balance.
Manage projects in ambiguous situations using data-driven decision-making.
The Essentials – You Will Have
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in supply chain, preferably in demand planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (APO preferred).
Fluency in English (written and verbal).
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP).
Experience in global or matrix organizations.
Exposure to advanced demand planning tools and analytics.
Experience working with distributors and suppliers.
