Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist

Tech Soft 3D is the leading provider of engineering software development toolkits and enterprise applications for CAD/CAE data conversion, visualization and publishing.

We’re seeking an AP/AR Specialist to join our world-class Finance team.
In this role, you’ll manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes across UK, Norway, Germany and France. Working closely with the Senior Financial Controller and external EMEA partners, you’ll ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of service for our customers, partners and vendors.

This position is based in our Lyon office, with flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Accounts Receivable: Payment application, collections, paperwork for tax certificates
• Accounts Payable: From seeking approval, to recording the bills in ERP, preparing payments, handling vendor queries and updating their records, reviewing expense reports
• Handle expense claim software (Concur) by new employee set up and training, and maintanence
• Support the team with PO process and implementation
• Cash Management: Bank recording and reconciliations, ensuring each bank account has appropriate operating funds
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing tasks such as fixed asset management, depreciation, intercompany recharge and balance sheet documentation
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth operations
• Support process improvements, documentation, audits, and automation initiatives
• Exemplify the Core Values of Tech Soft 3D on a consistent basis

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in AP/AR or general accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree, +2 years’ Accounting or Finance work (IUT, GEA, BTS compatible)
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus) and advanced Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Professional proficient in written and spoken English

The salary for this role is based on a combination of factors, including experience, education, and any special skills or expertise you bring. For individuals located in France, the pay range is €42,000 – €47,000/year.
