ポジション概要/ Overview
プロジェクト責任者(幹事会社)として、アニメ作品の企画・制作から収益化までを統括します。製作委員会の組成、宣伝、品質管理、メディア展開、商品化・ライセンス事業の推進を担い、事業を成長させることを目標としています。

幹事会社として原作を発掘・開発し、必要に応じて製作委員会を組成/運営、制作、商品化の流れから宣伝までを一貫してコントロールすることにより、期待される収益を実現し、一連の製作工程をリードします

Team Description
The Animation Production Group consists of two teams, each with a primary focus on either the domestic Japanese market or overseas markets.
The domestic team takes charge of high-profile IP entrusted by original rights holders, forming production committees in collaboration with publishers, broadcasters, and merchandising partners to bring these works to life as animated productions.
Meanwhile, the overseas team engages in international co-productions in partnership with studios and licensees abroad, producing animated content tailored for the global market.
By working closely together and complementing one another, both teams aim to create animation projects that embody the distinctive creativity of NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan.

As the lead company and project owner, this Anime producer role oversees the entire lifecycle of animated productions-from planning and production through to monetization.
The position is responsible for forming production committees, leading marketing and promotional activities, managing quality control, developing media strategies, and driving merchandising and licensing businesses, with the goal of growing each project as a sustainable business.

Key Responsibilities
As the lead company, this role is responsible for discovering and developing original source material, and-when necessary-establishing and operating a production committee. By maintaining end-to-end control over the entire process, from production and merchandising through promotion, this position leads all stages of the production workflow and delivers the expected financial results.
Original IP Discovery and Development
  • Closely monitor consumer trends and anticipate emerging shifts in the market
  • Identify source materials with strong monetization potential and build trusted relationships with creators and publishers at an early stage

Project Planning and Revenue Structure Design
  • Develop business plans (BP) and profit-and-loss statements (P&L), and secure approval from senior management
  • Establish execution frameworks in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive business execution based on the plan and implement monetization strategies in coordination with licensing sales

Establishment and Operation of Production Committees
  • Negotiate and coordinate with investment partners to form production committees
  • Provide regular reports on project progress and financial performance
  • Propose and implement additional measures, such as enhanced promotional activities, as needed

Production Management and Supervision
  • Select production companies, directors, cast, and creators, and conduct contract negotiations
  • Review and ensure the quality of creative deliverables, including scripts, visuals, and music
  • Guarantee the quality of final deliverables and supervise brand concept consistency for secondary uses and derivative developments

Strengthening the NBCUniversal Brand
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with creators, including original authors, directors, artists, and voice actors
  • Represent the company externally through speaking engagements, lectures, and public appearances
