About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience writing SQL queries within modern cloud‑based platforms or traditional databases such as Microsoft SQL Server. Candidates should be proficient in developing data visualization dashboards using tools including Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Qlik. This role requires strong documentation skills to create data mapping documents, write clear calculation logic descriptions, and develop technical diagrams to support the development process. Valuable skills for Trustmark’s technology stack include experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Python, and Power BI.
Responsible for understanding business needs to iteratively create solutions which can be used by a broad audience. Engages in best practice use and development for data visualizations and data stories. Uses data to drive process improvements and improve customer experience.Key Accountabilities
Query and analyze data from Microsoft Azure cloud platform using Databricks.
Model tables to be consumed by Power BI dashboards using Star Schema architecture.
Develop dashboards in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
Communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain clear and thorough documentation of data models, code, and projects.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4 - 6 years of related experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 6-8 years of related experience.
The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):
$71,520.40 - $103,307.70 per yearThe final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus.
