Position: Analytics Operations Engineer / Production Operations Engineer
Location: Gurgaon or Kolkata

Education: BTech/BS in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related technical field.
Job Summary:We're looking for an Operations Engineer to own the day-to-day performance, stability, and continuous improvement of our platforms spanning Performance Management (PM), Configuration Management (CM), Revenue Assurance, and Business Analytics. You'll be the bridge between system operations and engineering — proactively identifying issues, driving fixes, and ensuring these platforms run reliably at scale.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor system performance and proactively identify operational issues before they impact the business
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, partnering closely with engineering teams on root-cause analysis
Define operational priorities in line with broader business and technical objectives
Evaluate and implement operational improvements, including process redesign and automation
Assess the impact of system changes, failures, and new deployments across the platform
Maintain and enforce operational standards, procedures, and compliance requirements
Produce operational reporting by analyzing performance and engineering data/trends
Own system and data backup processes, release testing, and upgrade deployments
Administer and support Docker-based environments
Stay current on relevant technologies and best practices through ongoing learning and engineering collaboration
Key Skills: Production Operations, Linux, Networking, Troubleshooting, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows Services
4–7 years of experience in operational support for complex, production-grade systems
Hands-on experience managing complex application deployments
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Experience with high-volume file mediation systems
Solid Linux experience (system administration background a plus)
Working knowledge of Docker
SQL proficiency (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server) — able to write queries for data extraction and troubleshooting
Familiarity with VMware environments, including VM configuration and sizing
Telecom industry background
Networking and storage management experience
Skills Required
- BTech or BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 4-7 years of experience supporting complex, production-grade systems
- Experience managing complex application deployments
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with high-volume file mediation systems
- Solid Linux experience; system administration experience is advantageous
- Working knowledge of Docker
- SQL proficiency with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server for data extraction and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with VMware environments, including virtual machine configuration and sizing
- Telecommunications industry background
- Networking and storage management experience
