Role Summary:
Leads the development and delivery of advanced analytics that translate customer technology adoption and utilization data into actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and measurable business outcomes. This role focuses on identifying how customers realize value from technology solutions, with deep analysis of outcomes related to safety, productivity, efficiency, and customer return on investment. By connecting field performance, customer behavior, and business impact, the role enables data-driven decisions that accelerate technology adoption and utilization and strengthen commercial execution and customer value realization journey.
What You Will Do (Job Duties):
  • Provide KPI reporting on current performance versus ABP at overall and dealer level. Develop a transition plan to shift selected enterprise reporting activities to business partners while ensuring continuity and governance.

  • Lead analytics that measure customer adoption and utilization of technology solutions, identifying trends, barriers, and opportunities to accelerate value realization.

  • Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations that connect customer behavior, machine performance, and technology usage to measurable business outcomes.

  • Quantify customer outcomes related to safety, productivity, efficiency, and return on investment to demonstrate the value delivered by technology solutions.

  • Partner with commercial, product, digital, and field teams to translate analytics into customer-facing narratives, adoption & utilization strategies, and value-based recommendations.

  • Establish and communicate performance metrics, dashboards, and executive-level insights that guide decision-making.

  • Machine Learning: Applies machine learning concepts to identify opportunities, improve decision-making, and advance data-driven solutions.

  • Programming Languages: Uses programming tools and platforms to develop, modify, and support analytics and technology solutions.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:
  • Proven success leading analytics initiatives related to Digital & Technology that translate data into actionable business insights.

  • Strong understanding of customer pain points and the ability to connect Technology solutions to measurable customer value.

  • Technical solution orientation, with experience applying tools, data, and technology to solve business challenges.

  • Experience leading or managing teams, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.

  • Curiosity and hands-on experience exploring AI, emerging tools, and new technologies to improve outcomes.

Additional Information:
  • Work location: Peoria, IL preferred; Irving, TX will be considered
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available
  • Sponsorship/ISE will not be available.
  • Travel for this role is up to 20%

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $240,110.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
