In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in driving business efficiency through automation and leveraging data insights to optimize operations. Your expertise in data acquisition strategies and technical prowess will be instrumental in propelling our organization forward.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated workflows to streamline business processes, utilizing data extraction and manipulation techniques.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for the ethical extraction of valuable data from various sources, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical considerations.
- Clean, transform, and structure raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability for advanced analytics.
- Utilize your analytical expertise to generate reports and dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, business analysts, and data analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document and maintain code and technical processes to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar data-centric role.
- Proven experience with data scraping techniques and a strong understanding of ethical considerations (robots.txt, terms of service).
- Expertise in robotic process automation (RPA) tools and automation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in data wrangling tools and scripting languages (Python, R a plus).
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP) is a plus.
- A solid understanding of relational databases (SQL) and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively bridge technical expertise and business needs.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of Software development processes
