The Content Enterprise Data Science & Engineering team delivers metrics & science that help scale and innovate Netflix-wide workflows, drive efficiencies, and provide critical decision support to the many teams who help bring our Content to life on the screen.

We are looking for a stunning Analytics Engineer to join this team focused on supporting the Legal organization. In this role, you will partner with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Legal business teams, and other Data Science & Engineering colleagues to design metrics, develop analytic tools, build and evaluate models, and perform analyses that power Legal operations at scale.

Your insights will help steer our Legal Product strategy and priorities, particularly around rethinking our workflows from the ground up to leverage AI and LLMs, and unlock decision-making for Legal teams managing critical worldwide Legal engagements and initiatives.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer in this space, you will:
  • Be a strategic partner for Legal Product PMs, Engineers, and Legal teams, developing and executing new measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness and business impact of product solutions.

  • Lead and collaborate on development of new prototypes and product offerings, often LLM-based, to help scale the pace and quality of insights surfaced to Legal team decision-makers.

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with a variety of business and product stakeholders, working directly with them to introduce and influence data-informed ways of working.

  • Present your analytical methodology and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical partners, including C-level company leadership.

  • Collaborate with other Engineers to source data from new systems, strengthen our foundational data models, and accelerate data analysis.

About you:
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience with data wrangling, data analysis, metric visualization, and data storytelling to both technical and non-technical product and business stakeholders.

  • An expert in the standard tech stack (i.e., SQL, Python) and intuitive dashboard/visualization design using common data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Plotly, Streamlit).

  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor.

  • You have experience building or maintaining ML models and/or have designed LLM or agentic-based workflows at scale.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills coupled with strong business acumen.

  • Able to operate effectively in ambiguity and evolving environments; can take ownership and work independently with limited guidance when needed.

  • Able to work primarily in Central European time zone with the ability to meet with Pacific time zone colleagues during morning/evening overlaps.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.

Skills Required

  • 7 years of experience in data wrangling, data analysis, metric visualization, and data storytelling
  • Expertise with SQL and Python
  • Experience designing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Plotly, or Streamlit
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor)
  • Experience building or maintaining ML models and/or designing LLM or agentic-based workflows at scale
