The Consultant, Consultative Analytics is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that support business decision-making. This role focuses on recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, measurement, dashboard support, data investigation, and the application of AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and insight generation.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys solving problems with data, and is excited about using emerging technologies such as AI to improve how work gets done. They are comfortable working independently on analytics projects while partnering with senior team members to develop business understanding, consulting skills, and stakeholder management capabilities over time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Communicate findings through clear written summaries, presentations, and visualizations that explain what happened, why it happened, and what action should be considered.
- Build business and consulting capability over time by learning how to translate stakeholder questions into analytical approaches, hypotheses, metrics, and recommendations.
- Use AI, automation, and reusable templates or workflows to improve the speed, consistency, and quality of analysis, reporting, documentation, and insight generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, organize, verify, and document data sources, business logic, assumptions, and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations that help stakeholders monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
What you’ll bring to us:
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in a data analyst or consultant role; contact center or health care experience is a plus.
- Advanced SQL expertise, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and complex aggregations.
- Experience working with large-scale data platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Snowflake.
- Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous business questions and independently determining the appropriate analytical approach.
- Actively experiments with emerging AI and automation capabilities to improve efficiency, generate insights, and identify better ways of working.
- Looks beyond the immediate request to identify underlying problems and opportunities.
- Analytic thinker with a proven ability to interpret analytical output and translate data into insights.
