About the Role
We are seeking an Analytics and Strategic Initiatives Analyst or Associate to provide operational and strategic support to iCapital’s growth. This role is highly collaborative and impactful, with opportunities to work directly with senior leadership and expand responsibilities as the company grows. This individual will focus on defining and maintaining core analytics and working cross-functionally to improve processes and operations. The role is both ad-hoc and project-based and requires collecting relevant data, analyzing it in a structured manner, identifying trends and insights, and communicating findings via thoughtful deliverables. The ideal candidate has strong analytics and data storytelling skills, financial modeling experience, and the ability to develop cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Data, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and deliver key business intelligence and analytics.
- Build subject matter expertise in the data, systems, and processes across the company and how they interconnect.
- Develop advanced knowledge of the company structure, clients, and key business drivers to inform analyses for firm leadership.
- Drive the definition, preparation, and reporting of Firmwide KPIs and continuously improve reporting.
- Conduct research and business analyses and interpret into meaningful insights for company leadership and other stakeholders.
- Support pricing committee discussions by maintaining meeting minutes and pricing compendium.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of investment banking, management consulting, private equity, high-growth tech strategic finance, or corporate finance management development program
- Excellent Excel skills with extensive experience developing financial models and analyzing raw data to drive quantitative analyses
- Demonstrated ability utilizing BI tools to create and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports; Tableau is preferred
- Data-driven thinker who can translate complex problems into models that can be built and then iterated with stakeholders; strong strategic and business decision making abilities
- Organized and detail-oriented process manager who can prioritize and communicate clearly with senior leadership
- Highly collaborative relationship builder who can build rapport with colleagues at all levels and functions of the organization
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $115,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
