JOB OVERVIEW

The Analytics & AI Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical systems that support the daily operations of key business processes, including quoting, lease conversion, recalculations, and lease settlements or terminations. Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with the Client Success, Account Management, and Business Development teams to map out and deliver the consulting and analytical services required to meet the needs of strategic clients and prospects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Planning & Prioritization: Analyzes consultancy requests to effectively prioritize development tasks and deliverables.
  • Promotes Data Utilization for Decision-Making: maps and promotes use of proprietary and industry data to support client decision-making processes, constantly monitoring for new opportunities.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Leverages tools such as Python, SQL, Shell, and MS Power Platform to extract, manipulate, and format data for analytical reporting.
  • Modeling Development: Develops or collaborates on the creation of predictive ML models to identify cause-and-effect relationships, trends, and operational performance factors.
  • Development: Designs and maintains tools for critical calculations, including risk-based quoting, lease conversion, recalculations, customer billing, and lease settlements or terminations.
  • Shows Expertise: Maintains a comprehensive understanding of current FleetLab initiatives, including complex topics such as vehicle contract enforcement and operational/financial forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver actionable, data-driven insights.
  • Project Support: Assists in the development of project requirements, analytic plans, timelines, and related materials to ensure the timely delivery of results.
  • Comprehensive Business Understanding: Maintains a deep knowledge of overall business operations and strategic objectives.

  • No direct management responsibilities, but will provide day-to-day guidance and feedback

COMPETENCIES - SKILLS

  • Capable of Managing Complex Solutions: Skilled in planning, developing, testing, delivering, and maintaining multiple solutions while effectively managing workloads, balancing competing priorities, and maintaining flexibility to meet dynamic work demands.
  • Technical Proficiency in AI/ML: Experienced with AI/ML environments, including tools such as Python, JupyterLab, and Streamlit (or equivalents).
  • Familiarity with Advanced Frameworks: Knowledgeable in OpenAI, LangChain, and similar LLM/AI development frameworks or APIs.
  • Knowledgeable in Machine Learning Concepts: Well-versed in key ML principles, including regression, classification, forecasting, and model management.
  • Foundational Knowledge of Development Operations: Proficient in development architecture and operations, including code versioning (Git/GitHub), containerization (Docker), and microservices.
  • Collaborative and Communication Skills: Builds strong working relationships, fosters a collaborative environment, shares knowledge effectively, communicates clearly (both verbally and in writing), and demonstrates self-control under pressure. Skilled at articulating solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Accountability and Results-Oriented: Takes ownership of work and projects, delivering results that exceed expectations while demonstrating a results-driven mindset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Finance.
  • 3+ years in quantitative roles in Fleet Management/Financial Services/Banking field.
  • 1+ years in analytical (AI/ML) tools development
  • Demonstrates technical proficiency in using systems and data.
  • Python, SQL, ML, LLM experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written) skills required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: This hybrid position is in Georgia and operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Less than 15% travel expected for this role.
Physical Demands: The level and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform critical tasks in support of critical job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Pay Range:

$73,300-$102,600

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
