Sous la supervision du directeur de l’analytique d’entreprise, l’analyste principal en gestion des données d’entreprise est responsable de développer des rapports et des tableaux de bord à l’aide de divers outils, afin de soutenir les unités d’affaires dans l’analyse et l’interprétation des données. Le titulaire doit posséder une connaissance étendue des technologies, notamment des techniques de modélisation de données, des rapports opérationnels, de l’analytique et des systèmes d’ingénierie des données. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les analystes de données, les ingénieurs de données et les spécialistes de l’expérience utilisateur pour fournir des produits qui offrent des statistiques exploitables à partir de visualisations de haute qualité.
- Effectuer l’analyse exploratoire et le prétraitement des données pour dégager des modèles et des tendances.
- Collaborer avec les analystes de données, les ingénieurs de données ou les équipes de l’entreprise (Finance, Chaîne d’approvisionnement, Achats, Logiciels, Services, Ventes, etc.) pour comprendre les besoins d’affaires.
- Concevoir, modéliser, développer et maintenir des tableaux de bord de visualisation de données extraites d’entrepôts de données (Snowflake/Oracle) ou d’autres sources.
- Proposer des visuels de haute qualité pour la création ou l’amélioration de rapports et tableaux de bord opérationnels.
- Former et accompagner les utilisateurs dans l’utilisation de Google Looker et Power BI afin de favoriser l’autonomie.
- Entretenir de bonnes relations avec les différents services informatiques, notamment l’ingénierie des données et l’équipe d’intégration d’entreprise, pour assurer des implantations efficaces.
- Répondre aux besoins en données de diverses parties prenantes dans un environnement organisationnel matriciel.
- Capacité a effectuer des démonstrations de faisabilité des nouveaux outils
Exigences
- Minimum de 6 années d’expérience dans la mise en œuvre d’outils de visualisation et de création de rapports, tels que Google Looker et Power BI.
- Plus de 6 ans d’expérience avec des bases de données incluant les SGBDR et des outils d’entrepôt de données infonuagiques. Une expérience avec Snowflake et Oracle est préférable.
- Maîtrise de l’écriture SQL et excellente compréhension des concepts d’entrepôt de données.
- Connaissance approfondie de l’analyse de données, de la granularité des données et des techniques de modélisation de données.
- Expertise en techniques de visualisation de données, avec la capacité de présenter plusieurs options aux utilisateurs d’affaires.
- Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en interaction directe avec les utilisateurs d’affaires pour la résolution de problèmes.
- Expérience préalable avec des outils de gestion de projets tels que JIRA et Confluence.
- Fort esprit d’équipe et grand sens des responsabilités envers les livrables.
- Orienté client : évalue les décisions du point de vue du client.
- Capacité à communiquer de manière claire et concise, et à analyser efficacement les données/renseignements pour prendre des décisions.
Atouts
- Expérience avec d’autres outils d’analytique comme Tableau, ThoughtSpot ou Business Objects.
- Approche Agile et bonne compréhension du développement itératif et du concept de MVP.
Rémunération :
La fourchette de rémunération annuelle pour ce poste est de 90 900 CAD à 145 100 CAD
How You Will Contribute:
Reporting to Director, Enterprise Analytics as Senior Analyst, Enterprise Data Management, developing reports and dashboards in various tools to help business in drawing insights from data. You must have exposure to a breadth of technology understanding across data modelling techniques, operational reporting, analytics, and data engineering systems. You will work closely with data analyst, data engineering and UX to deliver products that offers data insights via high quality visuals.
Perform exploratory data analysis and data pre-processing to arrive at patterns and trends.
Partner with data analyst, data engineer and / or business teams such as Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Software, Services, Sales etc. to understand business requirements.
Owns design, data models, development, and support to data visualization dashboard pulling data from data warehouse (Snowflake / Oracle data warehouse) or other sources.
Share options for high quality visuals for the requirements of new / enhancement of operational reports / dashboards.
Educates and trains users in Google Looker, Power BI to grow self-serve capabilities.
Maintain peer relationships across IT including data engineering and enterprise integration team to support effective implementations.
Support the data needs from a range of stakeholders in a matrixed organizational environment.
Ability to lead proof of concepts of new tools
The Must Haves:
6 years + of experience with implementing visualization / reporting tools such as Google Looker, Power BI.
6+ years of experience with databases including RDMS and Cloud Datawarehouse tools. Snowflake and Oracle experience preferred
Strong expertise with writing SQL and good understanding of data warehouse concepts is a must.
Demonstrated knowledge of analyzing data, understanding data granularity, data modelling techniques is a must.
Expert in visualization techniques and be able to present multiple options to business users.
5+ years of experience interacting directly with Business users and solving problems
Prior experience with Project Management techniques like JIRA, Confluence etc.
Strong team player with a sense of ownership for deliverables.
Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer.
Communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
Assets:
Experience with other Analytics tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Business Objects preferred.
Agile mindset and good understanding of MVP / iterative development is desired.

Pay Range:
The annual pay range for this position is CAD 90,900 - CAD 145,100
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
