Responsibilities include feasibility assessment, floor planning, placement, routing, verification with DRC, LVS, PERC, EM, and IR checks, tool-flow improvement, status reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Designs, simulates, tests, and optimizes photonic integrated circuits, optical modules, and amplification technologies. Develops automated optical test environments using Python, performs characterization and reliability validation, analyzes performance data, troubleshoots complex systems, and supports product transfer from R&D into manufacturing. Collaborates with hardware, software, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver advanced optical networking products.

Develops and executes optical test plans for pluggable modem products, resolves factory issues, supports rework, analyzes optical performance, and improves manufacturing test processes. Collaborates with design, manufacturing, and product teams during new product introduction and lifecycle support. Documents test results, evaluates repairability and serviceability, and communicates findings. Contribute to high-speed interconnect and chip designs for AI networking systems. Responsibilities include building electromagnetic models, performing signal and power integrity simulations, validating results with laboratory measurements, characterizing SerDes and RF interconnects, and documenting and presenting technical findings. The role collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams on ASIC packages, PCB designs, power delivery networks, and link-level performance.

Design and validate analog and mixed-signal behavioral models for high-speed coherent optical modems. Develop C++ and SystemC models integrated with Python and MATLAB simulations, firmware flows, and lab validation. Model PLLs, clocking systems, filters, DACs, ADCs, and SerDes while supporting ASIC bring-up, silicon characterization, system architecture, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Leads block- and macro-level analog layout for high-speed BiCMOS and CMOS circuits, including floor planning, optimization, physical verification, and electromigration checks. Collaborates with analog designers, evaluates implementation trade-offs, delivers analog circuit products, and mentors junior engineers. The role uses Cadence, Mentor, and Synopsys tools and supports advanced optical networking modem solutions.

Develop optimization models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical solutions for global supply chain challenges, including network design, inventory, forecasting, and transportation. Clean and analyze large datasets, build production-ready solutions in Python or R, create dashboards, and communicate actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams to improve cost, service performance, and sustainability.

Conduct international talent market research, develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines, and provide data-driven insights for recruiting across APJ, EMEA, and North America. Partner with recruiters, HR business partners, and business leaders; build research frameworks, talent maps, competitor intelligence, persona-based pipelines, dashboards, and targeted outreach initiatives for GTM, engineering, and R&D roles.

Designs, simulates, characterizes, and optimizes high-speed RF/microwave structures and optoelectronic components for optical communications. Responsibilities include electromagnetic modeling, high-frequency measurement and calibration, data analysis, design improvement, technical reviews, multidisciplinary collaboration, and providing RF/microwave guidance within an R&D team.

Owns end-to-end optical fiber sensing architectures spanning coherent modems, optical line systems, telemetry, signal processing, analytics, and applications. Defines requirements, performance metrics, budgets, and roadmaps; validates designs through modeling, simulation, laboratory experiments, and field trials; and leads integration, verification, deployment, troubleshooting, and technical collaboration across hardware, software, product, and customer teams.

Supports customer services project delivery by coordinating implementation activities, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, communications, quality objectives, and financial targets.
