Analyst/Associate, Equity Derivatives Sales, Equity Derivatives

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Be a key part of the EQD team: To assist the team in the full end-to-end process of listing equity derivatives onto Bursa Malaysia. This includes the identification of underlying, structuring, and ultimately the market-making activities of said equity derivatives

• Data Analytics and Strategy: Analyze data to improve the team’s business decision making processes, including marketing campaigns, sales strategy and event planning.

• Content creation and presentation : To be able to propose and execute content creation plans and if needed, present in a clear and concise manner to investors in English. Fluency in other language(s) is a plus.

• Project Management: On a needs basis, assist seniors to liaise with key stakeholders, including regulators, in various projects. Project scope may include new listing, preparation of submission documents and/or launch of new products.

• Process improvement: Work with quant team to identify gaps in business operations and able to identify areas of improvement via automation or process re-engineering.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of financial markets, a plus if candidate possess good understanding of the equity markets and/or the equity derivatives space

• Ability to excel under pressure and tight timelines.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate concepts and present in a clear, concise manner.

• Securities Commission Module 6&7 passed (preferred)
