Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the Analyst – Treasury is to facilitate the effective management of the Company’s Global Treasury Operations, and its operating entities, and to provide insightful, actionable forward-looking analysis to management involving the treasury operations of the Company. Reporting to the Manager – Treasury Operations, this person will also be responsible for facilitating and maintaining the global treasury infrastructure including treasury systems as well as the implementation of global treasury policies and procedures.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assess, evaluate and review multiple data sources to organize projects and/or providing direction on completion of activities, tasks or processes in accordance with company guidelines.
Ensure all tasks, department assignments or projects, are accurately completed within deadlines.
Gather and evaluate information, develop opinions and recommendations, design and implement action plans and/or direct others in completion of tasks and assignments.
Exercise subject matter expertise and judgment based on information gathered, studied, analyzed or reviewed to render advice on achieving department or function objectives.
Demonstrate a drive to succeed as a member of a motivated, high-performing treasury team.
Support the daily cash management operations, Treasury/Financial analysis and reporting of the Company and its various operating entities through implementing cash management best practices, ensuring efficiency, enhancing internal controls, and minimizing fees.
Support the opening, closing and administration of the Company’s domestic and global bank accounts including bank Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) exercises.
Analyze activities and provide recommendations to Manager - Treasury Operations with respect to the safeguarding of Company’s assets and ensuring financial transactions, policies and procedures meet corporate short and long-term investment objectives and regulatory body requirements.
Analyze global debt portfolio to ensure adherence to debt and interest payment schedules and covenant compliance.
Prepare and initiate principal and interest payments for debt associated with all Domestic entities.
Evaluate and maintain global cash flow forecast models to increase efficiency in borrowing/investing decisions.
Analyze foreign exchange risk and monitor exchange markets to optimize the Company’s FX trading activities.
Review cash management banking agreements and review and analyze bank fees and statements to ensure adherence to pricing and service levels of banking products for all company properties.
Drive global treasury procedures and controls including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
Participate in implementation and ongoing maintenance of Global Treasury Workstation system.
Participate in special projects as required, working closely with Management on various financial objectives and system upgrades.
Perform job duties in a safe manner.
Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
21 years of age.
Proof of authorization to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
CTP Certification preferred
3-5 years of progressive financial experience with at least (2) years in treasury management or a related field
Demonstrated knowledge of treasury operations and experience in partnering with operating entities (both Domestic & International).
Direct experience dealing with external constituents and financial institutions is preferred.
Must be detail oriented to ensure the reliability of analyses and recommendations.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
