MUFG is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their team in Taiwan. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ensure the seamless processing of daily Treasury transactions, while supporting customers with timely and accurate payments.
What you'll do:
In the capacity of Treasury Analyst, you will be entrusted with overseeing a broad spectrum of daily Treasury activities that are essential to the bank’s operational integrity.
• Process all Treasury transactions, including foreign exchange, fixed income, and derivatives with the utmost accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure that all settlements are conducted strictly in accordance with procedural manuals, operational guidelines, and applicable regulations
• Conduct thorough reviews of all transaction documentation prior to processing, guaranteeing completeness and precision at every juncture
• Maintain scrupulous records by storing documentation in line with internal policies, local regulatory requirements, and established best practices
• Complete all requisite checklists promptly to uphold operational standards and ensure seamless workflow management
• Prepare comprehensive reports such as financial statements, exception handling reports, and overdue item reports to promote transparency and informed decision-making
• Monitor pending transaction items attentively while liaising with Relationship Managers and clients to resolve outstanding matters efficiently and manage associated risks effectively
• Adhere fully to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent observance of organisational standards
• Undertake additional duties or projects as assigned from time to time
• Deliver consistently high-caliber service to clients to enhance the reputation of the Treasury function and meet or exceed expectations.
• Engage proactively with various departments—including Operations—to seek guidance, share information, and secure support on transaction-related matters whenever necessary.
What you bring:
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate practical experience in managing financial transactions within regulated environments.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline
• At least 2 years’ experience in settlements within banking sector
• Good command of written English to support international communications and transaction-related processes
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of working effectively under pressure, with excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel

Skills Required
