Position Summary:
Supports the development of training for ADUSA Supply Chain organization, supporting Services, In Stock (including Logistics), and Procurement Governance (including ADvantage); frequently interacts with Manager, and sometimes (as necessary) Director level. Works with Continuous Improvement/Business Process, cross-functional business partners, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure proper design and delivery of training, development of Standard Operating Procedures, and availability of learning resources. Provides trainee and facilitator support, and assists with coordination of training timelines and venues.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports development of overall training programs/curriculums in alignment with organizational needs and priorities, and obtains buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Supports development of clear plan and approach for creation and maintenance of training-related materials and resources, including selection of appropriate mediums and vehicles for dissemination.
  • Partners with Continuous Improvement/Business Process to create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures as processes are developed or changed.
  • Supports cross-functional alignment and adherance to all training programs developed.
  • Upholds standards for all training-related materials, including training aids, guides, toolkits, handbooks, etc., ensuring complex concepts are translated into easily understandable language for end users.
  • Helps maintain and serve as gate-keeper for knowledge management databases to ensure current and accurate training-related materials and resources are readily available to all end users.
  • Coordinates and hosts training sessions for both new and existing Supply Chain associates as needed.


Knowledge:

  • Seasoned knowledge of adult learning theories/methodologies and best practices
