Job Description:
At Microchip’s Ennis site, we manufacture and test high‑reliability electronic components used in critical industrial, aerospace and defense applications.
Joining our Supply Chain team means playing a key role in ensuring on‑time delivery, operational excellence and customer trust, in a global and technically demanding environment.
This role is ideal for a hands‑ on Supply Chain Analyst / Planner with 3–5 years of experience who wants to own their scope, influence decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement in a modern industrial setting.
Your impact:As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be at the heart of our operations, translating demand into executable plans and ensuring materials and production flow smoothly across the supply chain.
You will:
- Own production and material planning for several active product lines (local and external manufacturing).
- Convert demand and forecasts into robust supply and capacity plans.
- Act as a key interface between Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering and Customer Service.
- Monitor and improve on time delivery and revenue performance.
- Anticipate risks (materials, capacity, lead times) and proactively drive solutions.
- Contribute to process improvements, ERP evolution and data‑driven decision making.
- Planning and scheduling material flow across the production cycle.
- Managing material requirements based on demand, engineering changes and production plans.
- Partnering with Procurement to support best‑in‑class inventory management.
- Tracking KPIs such as OTD, inventory turns, revenue indices and cycle times.
- Communicating clearly with internal stakeholders when supply constraints may impact customer commitments.
- Supporting ERP usage and transition activities (Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar).
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and collaboration.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 3–5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning, Materials Planning or Supply Chain Analysis within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Solid experience working with an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX highly valued).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to plan independently and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑changing, high‑reliability manufacturing environment.
- Clear communicator, collaborative by nature, and solution‑oriented.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; SharePoint knowledge is a plus.
