Growth Analyst, Strategy and Analytics
We are looking for a Growth Analyst, Strategy and Analytics who understands how to leverage data to drive strategic initiatives and optimize business outcomes. If you're passionate about using data to revolutionize small business banking and improve customer acquisition, lifetime value, and engagement, then we want to chat.
About the Role:
As a Growth Analyst, Strategy and Analytics at Novo, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven strategies across our entire product suite. Your primary focus will be on inculcating a test-and-learn culture to enhance customer acquisition (account volume), customer lifetime value (NPV), and customer engagement on our platform. You will be responsible for:
- Designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses related to product features, marketing strategies, and lending initiatives.
- Strategizing bids for paid marketing traffic and optimize acquisition based on maximum lifetime value
- Overseeing campaign launches and manage adherence to ongoing budgets and constraints
- Executing campaign setup, including keyword development, ad copy creation, account structuring, bid and budget management
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Lending, to implement and evaluate data-driven initiatives.
- Identifying new opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements through rigorous data analysis and strategic thinking.
Requirements for the Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytical marketing role
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong familiarity with marketing principles, trends, and innovation. Including brand, affiliate marketing, SEM, SEO, and CRO.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
How We Define Success:
- Efficient employment of analytics, market research, and other techniques to identify opportunities for growth and work cross functionally across product, Strategy & Analytics, Marketing and Data Science to develop strategies to capitalize on those opportunities
- Effective design and execution of data-driven experiments that lead to measurable improvements in customer acquisition, lifetime value, and engagement.
- Achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer growth, engagement, and profitability.
Nice To Have, but Not Required:
- Prior experience managing $100k+ monthly budgets on digital advertising
- Experience in the fintech or banking industry.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in business contexts.
- Experience with customer segmentation and lifecycle analysis.
