We are currently seeking an Analyst Sr - FP&A to join our Global FP&A team in our New York, NY location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Financial processes of the Marketing and Publicity teams, including expense tracking, budget management, and monthly forecasting and reporting.
- Process and track invoices and ensure timely payment. Partner with internal accounting, accounts payable and external partners regarding payment status.
- Reconcile media plans and review all media billing against contracts and/or forecasts.
- Month-end close process, including preparation and review of accruals, partnering with accounting to confirm booking, and reviewing monthly financials with marketing leadership.
- Assist with the end-to-end annual budgeting process
- Various analysis and ad hoc reporting as required, including document and process automation through use of AI tools
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting
- 2-5 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst, consultant or accounting position
- Experience in working in a marketing department or in the media and entertainment industry is preferred.
- MS Office expertise, with an emphasis in Excel, including copilot experience
- Proficiency in Oracle EPM, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and effectively prioritize one's workload.
The base compensation for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience. Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst, consultant, or accounting professional
- Experience working in a marketing department or the media and entertainment industry
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, including Copilot experience
- Proficiency in Oracle EPM, Oracle Planning, and Oracle EBS
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and effectively prioritize workload
