Interactive Brokers LLC ('IB") is seeking an Operations-Shareholder Services Analyst to join our team!  The ideal candidate will be able to interface seamlessly with internal and external customers, 3rd parties and other clearing organizations. All team Associates are expected to focus on automated solutions to complex problems of varying degrees. Skills required include the ability to be comfortable with new and changing technologies, work with system developers, create business specifications for new or enhanced system functionality, and new product support for our sophisticated proprietary systems.

The Associate hired for this position will first become a specialist in Shareholder Services, which includes US, Canadian, European & APAC ​​​​ Proxy, and then later cross-train to become a backup for other team responsibilities such as Bankruptcy & Class Actions. As a team member, the Associate will specifically be relied upon to address and resolve various deadline-oriented issues, operate IB's proprietary systems, external systems, test new or existing functionality, analyze firm/client data, assess operational/firm risk, and resolve routine and/or complex client service issues in a thorough, expeditious manner. 

We are seeking an individual that is self-driven, multitasking, and well organized to become a contributing member of our team.  

Responsibilities:
       • Analyze, monitor, and verify incoming corporate action information.
       • Analyze and reconcile the company's books and records with clearinghouses and banks.
       • Interface with clearinghouses and banks regarding instructions for corporate events
       • Collect and analyze instructions from our clients.
       • Work on system enhancements to handle existing or new products and new markets
       • Communicate with all the internal and external parties involved.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes :

      • Bachelor's degree preferred: science, mathematics or accounting preferred.
      • 1 to 3 years of targeted Corporate Action experience, preferably at a broker-dealer, but all             experienced candidates will be considered.
      • Knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and Government Securities.
      • Proficient with MS Office suite.
      • Must possess excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills.
