Role Responsibilities
- Local and Regional deposits and armored truck registration.
- Daily local and regional banks and armored trucks reconciliation, among other accounts such us clearing accounts.
- Armored trucks collection spread.
- Book and analyze collection adjustments’ requirements.
- Keep accounting records and prepare monthly account reconciliations to support blackline.
- Support local and regional internal and external audits.
- Month-end closing processes.
- Local and Regional Bad Debt Reserve monthly calculation.
Role Requirements
- One year or more of experience in an accounting or settlement role.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Analytical, organized, and methodical.
- Effective communication.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel.
- Teamwork and proactive attitude.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus.
- Intermediate English.
- Monday to Friday from 9 to 6pm.
- Work on certain Argentina Holidays.
Work Shift
Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.
