Summary:
In this role you will be accountable for supporting the development and enhancement of applications, dashboards, and data-driven insights that impact our business’s operational performance. This role requires a blend of technical and analytical skills, with a focus on data modeling, visualization, and KPI tracking to support strategic decisions and drive improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Create impactful visualizations that present data in a clear, actionable format to support decision-making across departments.
- Design and support the development of interactive dashboards that effectively display performance metrics, lead measures, and KPIs.
- Continuously monitor and track KPIs and lead measures, providing timely insights and identifying trends or areas requiring attention.
- Apply operational experience to identify inefficiencies, assess performance metrics, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and optimize processes.
- Develop and maintain data models that simplify data to support analytical and operational needs.
- Analyze data sets to extract meaningful insights that inform business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to support application development efforts, ensuring that new tools and features align with business objectives.
- Respond to ad-hoc data and analytics requests, including support for internal and external projects.
- Ability to identify root causes of issues, analyze complex datasets, and solve problems in a data-driven, systematic manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting findings to stakeholders at various levels.
- Utilize SQL and other querying languages to retrieve, process, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in an analytical role required.
- Experience in/with healthcare a plus, GPO, consulting, business analysis, materials management department or healthcare distributor/manufacturer a plus.
- Experience with operational processes, with a demonstrated ability to solve problems and improve efficiency.
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, Power Point, Power BI, Tableau, or additional Business Intelligence platforms preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and other data visualization tools.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,900.00.
