Primary Purpose:
This position will be responsible for the data & analytics support for electronic customer payment transactions both digital and in store in all ADUSA Banners. The portfolio consists of ~1B customer transactions, $45B+ sales and $500M+ transaction fees across all ADUSA Brands. The position will also support all vendor relations as it pertains to contract negotiations, SLA reviews, cost models and business reviews for both digital and in store customer payment transactions. This position will provide ROI analytics surrounding current and new payment types, as well as support our ADUSA brand teams with insights and analytics on the current and projected landscape of payments across ADUSA. This position will support the Payments Manager with enabling better collaboration and sharing of best practices, providing continuity across all payments activities and regions and enabling greater strategic focus on payments. This role will lead and drive the payments strategy across ADUSA and work cross functionally with all teams surrounding payments IT, Finance, Strategy and Loyalty.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support reporting, analytics, business insights, budgeting and forecasting for all ADUSA Brands in relation to all Customer Payment types
  • Report out to ADUSA Business owners and senior leadership on key KPI metrics for payments ex. Cost of Acceptance as % of Sales, Expense Tracking - Actual vs. Budget, Chargeback Losses % to Sales
  • Maintain governance structure and ROI review for all current and new payment types, processors, and fraud/auth tools.
  • Maintain all vendor relationships in relation to electronic customer payment transactions (in store & digital)
  • Responsible for negotiating and sourcing for all payment contracts and fees relating to customer payment transactions.
  • Is expected to have an extensive understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies around customer payments.
  • Maintain pipeline of opportunities and market intelligence in relation to customer payment transactions
  • Partner across Ahold Delhaize in relation to major global network partners (ex. Visa, MC and AMEX) on all contract, cost and sourcing opportunities
  • Analyze and maintain least cost debit routing, 3rd party network costs, performance against contract metrics (SLA's etc.) and customer experience.
  • Analyze market and competitive data to develop, analyze and execute current and new payment methods to enhance customer experience while engaging with all areas of the organization to capture full impact of payment method.
  • Ability to work as a key team leader or independently, directs and advises other professionals and is responsible for the success of the leading edge of critical payments solution review, implementation, and system integration.


Qualifications:

  • Education - Bachelor's degree
  • Experience - 5-10 yrs in Payment Industry
