Job Description:

The Operations Analyst is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and processing functional requests to support Medline’s backend business operations. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of operational tasks, with a focus on maintaining optimal inventory levels across all branches within the Division. The Operations Specialist will work closely with Product Managers and the Inventory Management team to develop and implement effective action plans, ultimately aiming to provide exceptional service to Medline’s customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with India and US teams to generate reports and analyze operational data.
  • Manage inventory processes including surplus, returns, stock transfers, DEDs, and slot holds, coordinate with branches and Sales for resolution.
  • Review and process DED requests, returns, and address AP issues such as overbills, problem tickets, and credits.
  • Analyze key reports (back orders, surplus, open POs) and resolve data discrepancies by working with relevant stakeholders.
  • Run monthly reports on holds, surplus, expirations, service levels, and save/spend metrics.
  • Track and resolve invoice and pricing discrepancies; coordinate with global teams and update costing as needed.
  • Identify top supplier service issues and collaborate with corporate teams for resolution.
  • Monitor rolling forecasts and allocations, support manufacturing sites during production disruptions.
  • Contribute to divisional goals by supporting new business tracking, process improvements, and ad-hoc projects.

Must Have

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling data and reports.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, data sorting, and print setup).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of database management for advanced data handling.
  • Prior experience working with U.S.-based teams or in a global operations environment.

Work Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience including experience working with large datasets involving data transformation and manipulation using Excel.

Working Hours:

  • 10.30 am to 7.30 pm – daylight saving
  • 11.30 am to 8.30 pm – non daylight saving
