Role Description
● Drives strategic initiatives for streamlining Production Operations, Releases & Works with team to define and implement best practices.
● Leads major incident and problem management, ensuring all steps during a
production issue are being executed and addressed. Evaluate documented.
● resolutions and analyze trends and recommend improvements for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
● Assist in the ongoing review and maintenance of technical support documentation to reflect newly discovered issues or improvements in the relevant systems.
● Setup monitoring of critical application functions and develop queries for data Analysis
● Implement innovative DevOps Solutions to solve technical problems and improves operational efficiencies through Automation
● Partners with Dev Ops Engineers & Development teams to develop, maintain and streamline automated build & release pipeline from code compilation, automated testing to deploy releases to multiple environments.
● Participate in on-call Rotation, overall development and deployment process, in a Business-Driven and continuous integration environment.
● Recommend engineering best practices, Performance testing automation &tuning
● Collaborate within an Agile dynamic development environment & eager to learn technologies.
● Continually improve personal knowledge and skills relevant to current enterprise
application architecture and integrations.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
● 5+ years experience in Manhattan WMOS SCPP Platform implementations and support (Versions 2009, 2016, and 2020)
● 3+ years experience with Relational DB and PL/SQL
● Experience with Logistics/Any other Carrier Integration systems
● Experience with warehouse automation integration, testing, and support (Bastian, Brock, Dematic, OPI, for example)
● Experience with integration of order management systems
● Experience with BI tools, preferable Jasper Reports, SCI or IBM Cognos
● Technical experience in Unix/Linux and shell scripting
● Ability to independently configure DC Workflows, customizations and test/validate business flows
● Experience in supporting E Commerce Distribution, Parcel Optimization, DC Automation (MHE & ASRS)
● Working in a matrix environment dealing with vendors and partners Ability to collaborate, communicate, and work in a team Desire to learn, grow and adapt to business needs and operational goals.
● Post secondary education in Business, Information Technology, Process Engineering or related fields.
● A proven record of accomplishments in major enterprise-level projects
● Ability to speak comfortably and with credibility in both business and technical languages
● Resourceful in overcoming obstacles to meet deadlines and have exceptional prioritization Skills
● Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges
