Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of client’s industry, business objectives and strategy, media plans, and consumer journey to provide context for analysis and reporting needs
- Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL), Quality & Hygiene
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive web analytics implementation and tracking across web properties.
- Provide insight into site visitor behaviour and engagement to identify optimization opportunities across websites to help inform site design changes.
- Apply independent critical thinking to analyse vast data sets to uncover media insights (what’s working, what’s not working) to drive strategic decisions.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with communication planners, creative assets, media planners, buyers, clients and other partner agencies
- Contribute to the department’s overall capabilities and understanding of media and communications channels
- Work with Director and senior analysts to develop report content (Word, Excel, Tableau, Looker, PowerPoint) in support of ongoing deliverables, as well as ad hoc reporting
Required Skills and Experience
- Must possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPointand Word
- Experience working with large datasets to uncover insights that are essential to business optimizations is a plus
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1+ years of experience in a professional services or corporate environment
- Experience using data visualization tools, such as: Excel 365, Tableau or Snowflake preferred
- Experience with ad-serving platforms such as Google Campaign Manager is a plus
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics, and/or tag management tools such as DTM/Launch, GTM and Tealium also a plus
