Job Title: Analyst - FP&A

SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data and other key metrics, in search of ways to enhance business value and ensure operational strength and flexibility, including performing the duties and responsibilities listed below:

Organizational Relationships

Reports to: Controller

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Finalizes monthly reports of business trends and budget variance of financial results and KPIs to be used in management reviews and strategic business analysis sessions.
• Incorporates financial data into capital models/templates to drive the capital planning process.
• Review and track cost savings against budget/forecast.
• Conducts initial strategic business analyses as required for long term planning.
• Identifies and communicates possible scenarios, associated risks and opportunities to include in the business performance reviews; works with internal business client to execute pre-defined action plans.
• Reviews, analyzes and recommends alternatives to any financial model presented.
• Provides business decision support to management.
• Develops business cases and analysis in support of capital investments and presents such to senior management and investors.
• Analyzes economic drivers of the business.
• Provides analysis and support to business acquisition due diligence.
• Performs any other duties or tasks that may be required of you by the company.
• Promotes and demonstrates behavior consistent with the company’s core values and policies.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree with a major in accounting or finance.
• At least four years of Professional Experience
• Manufacturing experience highly preferred.
• Understanding of corporate financial planning (i.e., business planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital), reporting & variance analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes.
• Experienced in budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP and management reporting packages
• Experience with managing process change/management, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
• Experience in working with different modules within ERP system (NetSuite preferred)
•  Strong written and oral communication skills.
