Be the System Analysts for Finance System team in Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services (EDMCS) who supports the Chart of Accounts (CoA) Elevation team to process, develop/enhance and oversee the testing process and assist with full end to end system testing when functionality is changed or new functionality is rolled out and act as the bridge between finance/business strategy and IT technology, driving value by ensuring the EPM system is optimized, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals

About the Team:

The Finance Systems team is a dedicated community of Techno-Functional professionals who partner and coordinate with the business and technology to manage, optimize and implement a controlled operation of business that allow the company to scale efficiently. Team support multiple projects across enterprise starting from development till implementation and seamlessly bridge the gap between technical and finance teams with enhanced service delivery and robust support with standards of control, efficiency and reliability

Impact

The Systems Analyst with knowledge of EDMCS is critical as it acts as the steward of master data integrity of the COA, ensuring that financial and operational hierarchies are accurate, consistent, and synchronized across all corporate systems leading to consistent financial reporting.

Key Deliverables

The Systems Analyst with knowledge of Oracle EDMCS, who will be responsible for administering, implementing, and optimizing our existing Chart of Accounts (CoA) dimension and hierarchies supporting the COA governance team that helps the financial planning, consolidation and reporting processes. Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A and IT teams to enhance system functionality and ensure alignment with business objectives.

 In this role, the Analyst is responsible for the following: 

  • Analyze business functions around Oracle EDMCS, PeopleSoft General Ledger, Blackline and Various other transaction processing system.

  • Strong understanding of financial data structures, Chart of Accounts, and enterprise reporting.

  • Work independently and with limited direction to prioritize tasks and organize workflow under narrow time limitations, and appropriately communicate changes and progress

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to control‑based execution.

  • Experience coordinating cross functional processes with multiple stakeholders.

  • Knowledge / Understanding of SoX and GAAP

  • Consult with the business and IT management to identify and document needs, objectives, current operational procedures and problems

  • Monitoring Sub-system / transaction processing system Interfaces and its Data Flow

  • Co-ordination for Sub-system / transaction processing testing.

  • Analyzing on exceptions and clearing the same.

  • Participate in various ad-hoc analysis and reporting efforts for the stake holders.

  • Ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under pressure & flexibility to meet demanding deadlines essential. 

  • Recommend and/ or implement actions required to improve processes.        

  • Proactively escalate issues to supervisor that require attention.

  • Respond in a timely manner to all requests from stake holders.

  • Ensure all activities are reviewed internally before it is reported out to stake holders.

Skills and Qualification

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with enterprise scale EDM / PeopleSoft Financial systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent work experience

  • Extensive prior work experience with systems and application management

  • Experience working in Finance technology domain within Banking or Financial Services industry

  • Strong understanding of financial data structures, Chart of Accounts, and enterprise reporting.

  • Proficient with desktop tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and technical communication platforms and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure, SharePoint.

  • Experience with systems data analysis.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization

  • Ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks, initiate meetings with team and peers

  • Proven ability to co-ordinate on agreed requirements within a team environment

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to streamline complex requirements to simplify Business Processes

  • Knowledge in application / systems such as Hyperion, CBS, Coupa, FlexCube, BOXI will be an added advantage.
