This role is of an experienced FSE for ICP. The developer will work closely with the engineering teams acknowledging the interdependence of software development, Business Analysts, QE, etc. S/He would be responsible for Quality of the Deliverables, E2E Quality of the product, overall application functionality, health and performance. H/She will write automation scripts, and improve overall quality and write secure code of the deliverables.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications and application components in an agile environment using the E2E Java framework
- Create high-quality software by conducting peer design/code reviews and developing automated test cases
- Design patterns and optimize the performance of services
- Act as a hands-on engineer, leading by example and working independently
- Build production-ready features and capabilities adhering to the best engineering standards
- Share knowledge internally with peers and leaders, acting as a resource for teams and business units within areas of expertise
- Collaborate with Principal Engineers/Technical Architects to develop prototypes into production-ready features
- Leverage the latest technologies to solve complex problems facing the health care industry
- Guide and mentor junior engineers within the organization
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science /Engineering/Science/Mathematics or related field with around 7+ years of experience in executing the Java projects
- Solid hands-on experience with Web frameworks (Angular, React etc.), HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, REST/SOAP Services with JSON/XML
- Solid hands-on experience on backend technologies Java/J2EE, Rules Engine, Spring, Web Services, Application and Web Servers
- Experience in using DevOps tools and developing CI/CD pipelines
- Deep knowledge / Hands on experience in designing, developing and maintaining high performing scalable Platform for web applications
- Solid database skills with good SQL knowledge. Requires knowledge on MSSQL/ORACLE Databases
- Thorough understanding of agile software development methodology (Scrum) and industry best practices
- AI Builder:
- Experience driving AI Build & Automation. Experience building or integrating with agentic tooling/automation concepts for operational transparency
- Proven ability to leverage AI assisted development and testing to improve engineering throughput, consistency, and quality.
- Cloud - Add on:
- Cloud Certification, preferably Azure
- Proven ability to leverage cloud services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), define and execute cloud strategies, including infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, ensuring systems are highly available, resilient, and secure
- Proven solid problem solving, debugging and fact-finding skills
