This role plays an important role within the centralized DSD Governance team and supports the execution and continuous improvement of governance, compliance, and supplier accountability standards across the DSD channel for ADUSA brands. The position is responsible for supporting DSD supplier collaboration efforts, with specific focus on identifying, validating, documenting, and communicating opportunities and risks associated with DSD performance, including the DSD Service Improvement Program and Accountability programs, and other defined governance initiatives.
This individual will support assigned brand(s) through data analysis, issue identification, stakeholder communication, and ongoing interpretation of DSD performance trends to ensure alignment with standardized processes, defined controls, and brand expectations. The role requires an understanding of the end-to-end DSD flow, from order creation through on-shelf availability, to help identify root causes of performance gaps and support recommendations that improve execution, reduce out-of-stocks, strengthen supplier accountability, and enhance customer experience.
This analyst will serve as a key point of contact for supplier partners and internal stakeholders, including Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Supply Chain teams . Through disciplined analysis, supplier engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, this role will help advance consistent execution, operational improvement, and measurable performance outcomes across the DSD channel.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide both reactive and proactive analysis of key data elements affiliated with DSD governance, supplier accountability, retail execution, and overall DSD channel performance.
- Leverage DSD Accountability, GlobalWorx, and other available performance data to monitor execution, identify risks, validate opportunities, and support issue resolution across assigned brand(s).
- Analyze supplier performance trends, retail execution gaps, in-stock conditions, sales impacts, and customer experience indicators to support fact-based recommendations and measurable performance improvement.
- Support investigation of supplier, brand, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and Supply Chain concerns by confirming or debunking assumptions, harnessing data, and delivering actionable insights.
- Partner with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and supplier partners to provide analytical support, measure results, assess supplier performance, and identify opportunities to improve DSD execution.
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of DSD governance standards, defined controls, standardized processes, and accountability programs across assigned brand(s).
- Assist in driving change management with internal stakeholders and external supplier partners by supporting implementation of new processes, reinforcing expectations, and ensuring alignment with brand strategies and DSD governance objectives.
- Provide supplier support and analytical guidance related to ordering, transporting, receiving, stocking, store execution, and other key components of the end-to-end DSD flow.
- Leverage learnings from the DSD Governance team, suppliers, brands, and industry practices to support consistent "best practice" behavior across brands and supplier partners.
- Prepare reporting and analysis to measure supplier performance against established KPIs, support period business reviews, and contribute to structured supplier accountability efforts.
- Identify root causes of DSD performance gaps and support recommendations that reduce out-of-stocks, improve sales performance, strengthen operational execution, and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the DSD supply chain flow of goods, from order creation through on-shelf availability, and how each step impacts execution and performance outcomes.
- Maintain a basic understanding of the systems and processes that influence the DSD supply chain, including Forecasting, CAO, EDI, DSD Receiving, GlobalWorx, DSD Accountability data, and associated store processes.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support company values.
Qualifications:
- High proficiency in Excel or other data analysis/mining software ( PowerBi )
- Solid understanding of all elements influenced by the DSD channel including store operations, IT, Finance, Category management, Transportation, Forecasting, and Replenishment
- Strong written and oral communication skills

PA Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560
Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
