What You’ll Do

The Analyst, Corporate Finance provides critical support for the strategic growth of the company. This role is pivotal in assisting with the oversight of Horizon’s investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. The Analyst will contribute to the evaluation, execution, and post-acquisition management of these ventures, ensuring compliance with post-deal obligations and supporting the continuous monitoring and reporting of Horizon’s financial interests.

Corporate Development:

  • Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of financial models to evaluate the impact of potential M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives on Horizon’s financial performance.
  • Participate in financial due diligence and post-deal integration activities, ensuring that all transaction aspects are managed efficiently.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and provide insights to senior management.

Strategic Finance:

  • Assist in the development of financial models and analysis to support long-term growth strategies and strategic decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to assist with translating strategic concepts into actionable business plans using analytical and financial modeling.
  • Monitor and analyze Company key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational improvements, recommending solutions to optimize financial and operational outcomes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial analyses on the performance of Horizon’s ventures.
  • Prepare schedules, forecasts, and variance analyses to support Horizon’s post-acquisition reporting obligations.
  • Support the Senior Financial Analyst in monitoring and analyzing Horizon’s treasury activities.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special assignments as needed.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2+ years relevant experience in corporate finance, or a related finance role
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams and multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Salary Range

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
