Job Description:The Rebate Analyst is responsible for the calculation and payment of Customer Rebates. This position will be responsible for the process start to finish, including tasks like agreement management, accrual setup, ensuring previous payments are completed, and processing future payments, and, monitoring rebate accruals and upcharges which have a direct impact on the net profitability of all sales and product divisions.Required Skills:
  • Work experience-Must
    • Accounting experience
    • Good knowledge of month end Accrual posting
    • Good understanding and knowledge of Basic accounting
  • IS experience
Strong in MS Office (Excel and power point)Nice to have: SAP and Vistex Knowledge
  • Soft skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    •  Ability to communicate strongly and influence without authority
    • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities:
  • Calculating and processing payments for Customer Rebates
  • Agreement Clauses interpretation and setting up in Vistex basis the same
  • Running and creating numerous reports for customers and Medline management in a timely fashion
  • Answering any and all questions regarding said payments and reports
  • Setting up, monitoring, and auditing all rebate accruals and upcharges for their respective rebates
  • Providing a monthly reconciliation to Finance to ensure that any necessary accrual adjustments are included in month-end reporting
  • Works directly with Sales and Finance to collect/resolve outstanding rebates or interest for accounts that are eligible for a rebate
  • Interact with stake holders through transparent and smooth communication and internal teams
  • Support on ad-hoc projects as assigned
Educational Qualification
  • B.Com/MBA-Finance with good accounting skills--- 2 to 4 years
