The Role

The Inflight Support Services team provides critical and complex data and process management services to a major airline customer, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This role will support technology development projects, instructional design, and targeted data analytic reporting. Reporting to a senior manager, the role will support with data management reporting, business process documentation, instructional design and maintenance of eLearning training program, business project coordination, and internal coordination for appropriate communication and information flows.
The successful candidate will develop expertise in all core data and workflow processes, and leverage this expertise to develop meaningful eLearning, business process material and data analytics. The successful candidate adds immediate value with their existing skillset and will ‘learn by doing’ all critical data management tasks, providing valuable support to our front-line operation and becoming a subject matter expert in the tools used to provide our services.

Annual Hiring Range:

  • $70,000 - $75,000 Per Year

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and refine the business process and training material needs for all key data and process management services provided to our customer.

• Lead instructional design efforts utilizing the Articulate eLearning platform, creating, and maintaining efficient trainings for adult learners.

• Support the delivery of system and process training programs for the ‘Inflight Exchange’ platform, helping develop ‘super-users’ in the ‘end to end’ workflows.

• Use technical writing skills to support the creation and maintenance of process documentation for workflows within Inflight Support Services, with Customer(s), and/or technology support area. Communicate new/updated procedures and maintain revision history.

• Create dashboards and other reporting tools to maintain ongoing visibility on performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) providing insights to senior management, individual team members and Customer.

• Coordinate with stakeholders for system business requirements, testing, and implementation for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.

• Support Senior Manager in representing Inflight Support Services with global IT Development and Support.

• Support ad-hoc IT related projects/areas for Inflight Support Services.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending, and implementing best practices and tools to drive efficiency and drive innovation within the business processes.

• Support each team with essential data entry and analyst tasks as required.

• Professionally represent Inflight Support Services at in-person/virtual meetings and events.

Education:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in addition to the 2 years of professional experience.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in related IT, data management and instructional design required. 

Work Experience
• Instructional Design using eLearning platforms to create training content (preferred)
• Process Mapping using Visio or other business process mapping platform to create workflow material.
• Process documentation for business and technology workflows.
• Performance data analysis and reporting output.
• Exposure to Python or a similar programming language used in process design (preferred)
Technical Skills
Preferred:
• Certificate in Digital Learning & Instructional Design.
• Entry-level Project Management certification.
• Technical Writing Skills certification.
