Purpose of the role
Responsible for supporting relationship managers in promoting a range of MUFG products and services to various customers.
The assignment is to develop customer relationships by managing day-to-day business transaction with customers in JCBD SG.
Oversees the credit management as the Booking Office and enhance its credit control for Agent Transactions in order to be in line with Proper Transactions. To achieve an effective management of Agent Transactions booked in Singapore, and to bring them in line with Singapore Office Proper Transactions. Agent team’s assignment is to monitor the covenants, review the call memo, review the audited financial statements, and monitor the conditions & instructions imposed by credit divisions, to be in line with Proper Transactions, which will enhance the existing bank rules. The Team will work closely with Relationship Managers and relevant stakeholders in APAC to manage relationship and business development with customers so as to achieve BU’s target.
Job Responsibilities:

Support the relationship managers in the delivery of relevant banking services to customers, in own coverage area to meet the BU's revenue targets.

Execute the credit upon the Agent Office’s instructions and oversees transactions in which an office asks JCBD ASIA, SGBR-CBCD or CBCD and SGBR-OSD or OSD to execute the extension of credit to a customer to be booked in Singapore.

Manage the administration of booking, such as funding and extension/collection of credits and report, without delay, to the Agent Office in case of any trouble, e.g. delay in repayment.

Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally

To manage day-to-day business transactions with assigned customers

To handle customer onboarding services and updating customer account documentation

Focus on daily transaction processing/execution, facilitating enquiries and serving clients’ request and ensure the work process accuracy, smoothly and speedily

Work in partnership with Operations to ensure smooth processing of transactions.

Visit customers when required to maintain the customer’s relationship

Support members of the team promptly and work closely with Relationship Managers and relevant stakeholders in APAC to manage relationship and business development with customers so as to achieve BU’s target.

Support departmental initiatives to deliver increase revenue opportunities and deliver a high quality of service to customers.

Provide transaction and monitoring support in connection with the delivery of MUFG products to meet the needs of the Bank’s customers.

Always comply with internal rules and guidelines as well as with external laws and regulations pertaining to proper conduct of banking business

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.

To improve workflow efficiency

To advise on investment products concerning OTC derivatives contracts (includes FX Forwards) under Financial Advisers Act (FAA) and To Deal in investment products concerning OTC derivatives contracts (includes FX Forwards) under Securities and Futures Act (SFA)

To advise others on investment products concerning structured deposits (includes Embedded Deposits) under Financial Advisers Act (FAA)

To handle Embedded loans

To monitor the covenants, review the call memo, review the audited financial statements, and monitor the conditions & instructions imposed by credit divisions, to be in line with Proper Transactions.

To assist in the conduct of Periodic Review of KYC Check based on the KYC Procedure in Singapore and request the Agent Office to submit all required materials and information for the Periodical Review of KYC Check.
Job Requirements:

Degree qualified.

At least 1 year of working experience.

Candidates with no experience but with equivalent internships in the same industry or similar industry may also be considered.

Knowledge in credit analysis, income statement and balance sheet proficiency is preferable.

Excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively and courteously with others.

Good stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.

Good team-player, ability to adapt to change needs of the organization and demands of internal and external stakeholders.
