Polaris, a global powersports leader, is looking for an experienced Applications Support Analyst to support our various systems being used globally by many teams across the organization.
As an Applications Support Analyst at Polaris, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of critical business applications. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth functioning of applications, responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Support
- Provide functional and technical support for our Customer and Dealer facing systems such as the Polaris Dealer Extranet, D365 CRM, Public Websites and other related systems
- Support custom IBMi functions that support the above systems and any integrations with the IBMi systems.
- Resolve support tickets in a timely manner or escalate to the appropriate team, if the issues cannot be resolved in a timely manner.
- Create support documentation as required to ensure quick resolution for common issues and support continuity.
- Analyze complex issues using both knowledge of the business rules and data. Provide details to the Software Engineering and Product Management teams based on that analysis to identify potential solutions.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Software Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure that recurring issues are added to their backlogs for permanent resolution/mitigation.
- Keep up-to date on upcoming changes that will impact the team’s daily support.
- Share knowledge/learnings with the team to support continuous team growth.
- Act as an escalation point for the L1 Service Desk team for critical issues covered under the team’s scope of support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or similar degree
- At least 3 years of experience of Applications/Service Desk support
- Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems and general IT principles
- Experience using SQL required
- Experience with working in a Matrix organization with Global teams preferred
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Strong communication skills as well as structured, analytical thinking and acting
- Excellent general technology troubleshooting skills
- Prior experience using ServiceNow ITSM system in an IT support role preferred
- Prior experience working in MS D365 CRM preferred.
