Job Description
Actuarial Analyst Life Modelling – Role Band AThis position is responsible for IFRS17/SII modelling and exposure management services for all Insurance books of the company. These services will include and not limited to end-to-end life modelling, data testing, basis and model developments. The ideal candidate should be able to understand Life Insurance industry terminologies.Experience1 to 3 year of experience in Life InsuranceEducationDegree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science CM1 & CS1 paperRole and ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding client requirements and carrying out analyses that will aid the creation of solutions to meet these requirementsEngaging with stakeholders on requirements.Participating in pre-specified modelling changes while learning to appreciate best practice modelling guidelines.Raising queries with the clients for missing piece of information.Performing quality checks and provide feedback.Participating in system testing activities and constructing results dashboards to aid in the walkthroughs of results analyses to stakeholders.Communicating progress on activities to relevant stakeholders and delivery managersPreparing complete documentation and audit packs supporting developments and overall model releases.Ensuring process activities are consistent with defined process manuals and updating procedural manuals when necessary.Ensure timely completion of all deliverables. Preferred Skills/KnowledgeKnowledge of Life Insurance modellingGood hands-on experience on Prophet or other modelling toolsGood working knowledge of Excel, VBA, Access, SQL, R/Python and MS-Office appsExcellent communication skills
