What We'll Bring:
We are looking for a Seasoned Accountant with accounting knowledge and experience on general ledger function. The ideal candidate will assist in daily accounting operations, month-end closing, and compliance tasks while learning and growing in a dynamic finance environment. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to build a strong career path in both general accounting and compliance processes.What You'll Bring:
- Accountable for recording financial transactions in the accounting system, under the general ledger, fixed assets and intercompany modules.
- Accountable for month-end and year-end tasks.
- Reconcile accounts and assist in bank and intercompany reconciliations.
- Monitor compliance with local tax regulations and filing deadlines.
- Assist in preparing supporting documents for external statutory audits and tax assessments.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents when necessary.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the finance manager
Impact You'll Make:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field (CPA board passer is required).
- Knowledge of accounting principles, accounting standards, and Philippine tax regulations (e.g., BIR forms and deadlines).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Netsuite) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a finance team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with external audit approach.
- Strong ethical standards and a sense of responsibility.
