Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Senior HR Data Analyst to join our Human Resources team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to support strategic HR decision-making and drive organizational effectiveness. You will work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze workforce trends, optimize HR processes, and provide actionable recommendations that enhance our talent management and organizational performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive HR dashboards and reports using advanced data visualization tools to track key HR metrics and workforce analytics
- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis of HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to recruitment, retention, compensation, performance, and employee engagement
- Develop and implement HR data models and analytical frameworks to support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives
- Collaborate with HR business partners to define data requirements, translate business questions into analytical solutions, and deliver actionable insights
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance by establishing data governance protocols and conducting regular data quality audits
- Create and present executive-level reports and presentations that communicate complex data findings in a clear and compelling manner
- Analyze recruitment metrics, hiring funnel performance, and time-to-fill data to optimize talent acquisition processes
- Support compensation and benefits analysis, including salary benchmarking, equity analysis, and benefits utilization studies
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within HR operations using data-driven recommendations
- Stay current with HR analytics best practices, emerging tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance analytical capabilities
- 8+ years of professional experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or related analytical roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets
- Expert-level skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data modeling
- Demonstrated experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and HR analytics platforms
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and quantitative research methodologies
- Exposure to AI / ML and Data Science – e.g., hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML models (APIs, basic MLOps) and applying data science techniques (data cleaning, EDA, predictive modeling, dashboards) to solve business problem
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) across recruitment, retention, compensation, and employee development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in data governance, data security, and compliance standards
- Preferred: Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for advanced data analysis
- Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and tools
- Preferred: Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning applications in HR
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms
