As an Associate in the Product Administration – Alternative Funds Controlling and Oversight team, you conduct and document fund controlling tasks and oversight controls on alternative funds’ NAVs. You collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support new product launches, regulatory reporting, and risk management. You play a critical role in maintaining robust valuation policies, managing service providers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document fund controlling tasks and oversight controls on alternative funds’ NAVs.
  • Manage day-to-day engagement and service reviews with external fund administrators, including vendor due diligence.
  • Prepare, review, challenge, and formalize documentation for the JPMAME Valuation Committee, including valuation model reviews.
  • Support new product launches by identifying, documenting, and implementing new control models for alternative funds, and updating valuation policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Implementation team, internal teams, and external parties on onboarding-related projects.
  • Assist risk management teams in identifying the risk profile of alternative funds.
  • Support regulatory reporting for JPMAME alternative funds.
  • Address internal, management, and external queries related to valuation and NAV monitoring controls.
  • Liaise with JPM Alternatives business groups, external fund administrators, consultants, and depositaries.
  • Define and formalize periodic reviews and updates to valuation and NAV oversight policies, procedures, and operating models.
  • Report to the JPMAME Management Committee, fund boards, and other relevant governance bodies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Demonstrate proven experience with alternative funds, including real estate, private equity, infrastructure, and private debt, in fund controlling, administration, audit, or oversight roles.
  • Apply understanding of alternative investments valuation methodologies in line with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
  • Exhibit robust knowledge of alternative fund structures, operational processes, financial reporting, and the fund regulatory environment.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to governance bodies and executive stakeholders.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple deliverables with a high sense of responsibility and dependability.
  • Show strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers and demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English.

  • CA or CPA qualification.

Skills Required
