Job Description:
This opening is for an Analog IC Design Engineer within the MPU analog IP design team at our Zaragoza, Spain location. As an analog designer you will be responsible for the design and verification of innovative analog and mixed-signal circuits.
Duties and expectations:
- Design and simulate a variety of analog and mixed-signal circuits including amplifiers, regulators, bias generators, bandgap, oscillators, etc.
- Work closely with the layout designers to develop floorplans and optimize circuit layout.
- Assist the silicon validation team to measure, characterize and debug analog on final products and test chips
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include:
- MSc (+3 years experience) of PhD in microlectronics with focus on analog/mixed-signal design.
- Good understanding of analog building blocks, design fundamentals and layout of analog circuits. Familiar with CMOS technologies.
- Significant experience with Cadence Virtuoso IC design environment including Spectre/AMS simulation platform.
- Experience in Verilog HDL/A/AMS preferred, but not required
- Some experience in hands-on lab/debug using oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
- Excellent technical, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to work on multiple projects and technologies at any given time.
