Your Team, Your Impact
As an Analog IC Design Staff Engineer with Marvell, you’ll be a member of the Central Engineering business group. If you picture Marvell as a wheel, Central Engineering is the center hub providing IP to be used by all the other spokes on that wheel, including Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. You’ll be part of a small analog team making a big impact on this organization. Additionally, Marvell has the perfect size and scale for you to learn several aspects of engineering that will be new to you, but it also has the time and freedom to dive deep into the details of your specialization on most projects.
What You Can Expect
- Analysis of block specifications and selection of the appropriate topology.
- Transistor-level design of analog blocks.
- Supervise layout activities, provide guidelines and run post-layout verifictions.
- Block modeling and/or model validation.
- Cooperation with other teams to improve existing solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 1-3 years of work experience OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with analog design, preferably in the multi-GHz range.
- Performing or supervising analog custom layout.
- Proficient with using EDA CAD tools.
- Measuring IC performance and debugging the design to correlate simulations to measurements.
- Direct project experience in at least one of the following areas is a plus: multi-Gbps electrical SerDes, electro-optical transceivers, and advanced CMOS nodes, including FinFET.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
