Role Summary/Purpose
Drive Lean initiatives into shop operations resulting in waste elimination and continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
- Understand the current shop processes including turnaround time, cycle times and value added to the customer.
- Submit and conduct projects applying Lean tools, for productivity increase and waste elimination.
- Coach CIs (Continuous Improvement Associates) through Lean Roadmaps and Strategies,
- Strong knowledge on lean tools application for example but not limited on, Standard work definition, Daily Management, Problem Solving, Visual Management, Value Stream Analysis, Flow, Pull, Kanban, etc.
- Identify shop process waste and constraints and propose action for the teams.
- Facilitate events to identify improvement opportunities and implement them to achieve positive customer outcomes.
- Validate and audit the impact of implemented kaizens.
- Facilitate, train, and coach other employees in the use of Lean tools.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Intermediate level in English (Conversation and Writing).
- Ability to navigate across different organizational levels
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and tools
