Join the Paris Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) department who aims to prevent, detect and investigate fraud and other financial crimes within the group. This is done through the continuous assessment of risks to limit the risks of fraud and financial crime. You will undertake proactive and reactive investigations that may arise from internal and external events, in coordination with other functions within the group. This is an important role in preventing and detecting possible fraudulent and criminal behavior.
Responsibilities
- Review, complete and validate KYC files of high-risk customers
- Review the KYC profile of clients as part of periodic reviews with regard to local AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing) regulations and DB Group's internal procedures
- Provide advice and assistance to the various business lines and other relevant infrastructure departments on AML/CFT regulations and internal procedures
- Provide AML/CFT training to staff as appropriate
- Assist in the collection and preparation of internal and regulatory reports to the AML/CFT regulator
- Process alerts from the transaction monitoring tool, and prepare Tracfin declarations if necessary
- Escalate and/or report (as appropriate) potentially suspicious transactions identified locally or through surveillance tools, so that they can be immediately investigated and documented
- Ensure that all internal rules and procedures are up to date, and in compliance with local regulatory requirements and ensure that they are disseminated to all relevant parties
- Participate in the Group's AML/CFT projects and initiatives in the development of the AML/CFT risk mapping
Skills
- Master 2 level in Law with minimum 5 years of experience in AML/CFT function within the financial/banking industry
- Fluent in French and English communication and skilled at collaborating with diverse international teams and stakeholders
- Able to respond effectively to urgent requests, to show initiative and react quickly to changes in priorites
- Open-minded, persevering, strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Able to adapt and integrate you into a human-sized team
