Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years experience in production processes, assembly lines, manufacturing or product engineering and project launches
- Minimum 2 years tenure at MPTR (Magna Powertrain)
- Clean Kardex (no incidents)
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical engineering or related; must be graduated and hold professional license (titulado con cédula)
- Knowledge and application of APQP, PFMEA, DFMEA, GD&T, MSA, SPC, PPAP and Core Tools
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Intermediate experience with process flow simulation using FlexSim
- Experience with assembly-specific equipment and processes: leak testers, presses, sealant application, laser/CD welding, torque tools, handling devices, riveting, snap-ring installation, oil filling and line automation
- Familiarity with MS Office suite, MS Project, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and customer-specific requirements (IATF, AIAG, VDA, ISO14000) and financial administration basics
