ABOUT THE ROLE

Your main goal is to support the delivery of a high-quality learning experience at scale, contributing to a high graduation rate. In this role, you will work closely with a team, including associates, assistants, and coordinators, to implement creative solutions that enhance learner engagement and improve graduation outcomes.

This position requires a strong focus on operational support, data analysis, community engagement, and program coordination. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in operations, data analysis, and customer engagement, with an interest in learner retention and program success. You will work under the guidance of senior team members, contributing to strategic initiatives and providing valuable input to improve the learner experience.

You should be adaptable to changing priorities and willing to take on new tasks and projects as the business evolves. Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key, along with a strong customer-centric mindset to support learner success. Occasionally, you may need to assist with urgent requests and provide support outside of regular work hours, ensuring the smooth operation of programs and effective resolution of issues.

Data Analysis and Reporting Support:

  • Dashboard Maintenance: Assist in maintaining dashboards that track key operational metrics, providing real-time insights to help drive performance improvements.
  • Analytical Reporting: Contribute to the generation of reports by gathering data and conducting basic analysis, supporting senior staff in decision-making processes.
  • Research and Data Collection: Assist in conducting research and gathering data to support various initiatives, ensuring that recommendations are data-driven.

Program Knowledge and Support:

  • Understanding Programs: Develop a strong understanding of the programs offered, including structure, content, and graduation requirements.
  • Assistance and Guidance: Provide support to learners by answering questions related to program details, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Problem-Solving: Assist in identifying and addressing potential issues with guidance from senior team members, contributing to solutions that improve the learner experience.
  • User-Centric Focus: Maintain a strong focus on the learner's experience, ensuring all actions and suggestions prioritize their needs.

Presentation and Communication Support:

  • Slide Deck Assistance: Help create visually appealing and clear slide decks for presentations, reports, and meetings, ensuring information is communicated effectively.
  • Information Synthesis: Assist in synthesizing information from various sources into clear and concise summaries, making data accessible for decision-making.
  • Responsive Communication: Ensure prompt responses to internal and external requests, supporting clear and timely communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Background:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Education, Training and Development, Systems Thinking, or a related field. 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in Data analysis 
  • Previous experience with online learning environments is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Basic analytical and critical thinking skills, with a willingness to develop these further. Ability to support the synthesis of information for reporting and strategic decision-making.
  • Presentation Skills: Familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., Google Slides) and a willingness to learn how to create clear and visually appealing slide decks.
  • Project Management: Exposure to project management and the ability to support strategic projects, assisting with coordination and meeting deadlines.
  • Research and Data Gathering: Basic research skills to gather and analyze data, supporting decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • User-Centric Mindset: A focus on prioritizing learner needs and maintaining a customer-centric approach in all activities.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Willingness to contribute to program evaluation and suggest improvements under the supervision of senior team members.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in basic office software such as Google Suite, with a willingness to learn more about learning management systems (LMS), event management tools, and project management software (e.g., Asana, Slack, Zoom, Miro).
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques, with a desire to learn how to create impactful reports and dashboards.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain positive relationships with learners, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the achievement of common goals.

Additional Requirements:

  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with guidance from senior team members and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Drive for Data: Strong interest in being data-driven and learning how to make decisions based on data analysis.
  • Data Management: Some experience or interest in working with data sets and learning about data management.
  • Independent Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn how to independently solve problems and contribute to team success.
